I haven't pointed this out to dealer. Is this just part of having a vert?
The top is also sagging where the seams show the most glue. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...n/IMG_0268.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...n/IMG_0266.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...n/IMG_0262.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...n/IMG_0261.jpg |

I have a vert, and havent had that drastic of a problem but here is what I suggest that a friend vert owner tipped me off, there's this stuff called "Ragg Topp" get your self the cleaner and the protectant, they will have your top looking like new, I wouldnt give an endorsment but this stuff is to convertibles as Zaino is to waxing. I always have my top down(so does my girlfriend), but after using this I cant put it down it looks to good to keep down.
Best of luck to you and hope thats all it is. |
You have a definite problem. I saw the pix of your Vert and I immediately went outside to look at mine - I do not have the glue lines/sagging that you do.
My build date was last July, took delivery last August, and I have not treated my top in any way, AND (gasp) I go to the local car wash every Saturday to get my car washed!!! I'd say that I keep my top up more than I do down. The car is garaged at night. Good luck with getting that taken care of. I would most definitely complain about it. |
