#1
'05 Torch Red, IUP, Shaker 1000, Interior Red Accent GT Vert...ordered 2/26 arrived yesterday.....my daughter knows she is getting it for graduation for has no idea when it could arrive....does anyone have a creative idea to surprise her? Here is a good surprise. Show her the car and tell her you decided to keep it for yourself Or, another surprise, tell her how much her insurance is going to cost her
Seriously, nothing is better than just taking her out to dinner to say congrats. Order desert but have then bring a plate with the keys on it. Arrange to have the car waiting for her in the parking lot.
I know that is what I would do.

Someone on TMS did something like this, he got the car early went and parked it at a restaurant went home got his family to go to a the restaurant they ate dinner walked out with his family and said he wanted to get a good look at the car so as the family walked towards it he pulled out the keys and unlocked the doors and he was off I guess.

Here is a good one. Tell her she got the car for graduation but, you decided to give it to a guy in Indiana who has been waiting since Feb. 4th for his. That will surprise her. Heck I'll even pay my own insurance.

Id put a big sign on the Windsheild saying "Happy Grad So and SO"...insert proper name, and leave it at the dealer. Pick her up at school and tell her the dealer called and you werent able to get your car for 05....no lying there for some of us...and then leave the school telling her you have to go by the dealer and get yor deposit back. She will be all bummed....like alot of us are gonna be it looks like...and when she pulls in the lot and sees that on the car she will poo! However you do it tell her we all says Congrads, enjoy the car, and NEVER let her b/f drive it

Maybe have something akin to that Ford commercial with the Marine?
Have a nice mother/daughter chat and somehow get her to open the garage?
Or...if you go to a restaraunt with a valet, when y'all leave, have the valet pull up in the Mustang instead of the car y'all came in with.

How I'm suprising my girlfriend with my car:
When I get my car I'm going to park it behind the house (if the woman isn't home yet). When she gets in I'll tell her my parked Honda was hit by a delivery truck at work and it's barely driveable. She should probably fill her pants with excrement in horror and when she runs out to see the damage I'll just say somebody at work let me borrow their car...then I'll tell her it's mine.

I like the valet idea way better than the dessert deal. That way you won't have to rush out of the restaurant.
VALET GOOD

YES, but, would you want some Valet driving it before she gets to. We've all heard the horror stories about Valet Parking.
Dustin our DORA's were porcessed the same day, for almost the same options.

Tell her that you need to put your car in the shop for a few days and that you'll need a rental. Take her over to the rental place (where you'll have already planted the car) and when you get there, have the rental guy bring it around.
SURPRISE!
