Trunk Space

I play bass and that usually means carrying big things around. Whats the biggest thing any of you have put in the trunk?

To be more specific, if any of you are musicians, i want to know if i can stuff a 410 cab into the trunk.

The trunk space itself isn't bad, It is the opening for the trunk to get things in that is limited. If I have something large I just put the seats down in the back and put it through the side doors instead. Had to do that last night with a Coleman big bog cooler!!!!

Take your bass to a dealership and find out how big the trunk is.

I got these amps in.....The bottom one just barely.
A Guitar in a huge case- say an acoustic or coffin, forget about it- I can only fit a fender tweed case or gig bag back there.

I doubt you'll be able to fit 4-10's in there. My practice amp fits in there but that's all. If you look at April's picture, if she barely fit that little amp in there then your cab will not.

Does that Dean amp that just barely fits, is that an 8" or 10" speaker? I'm just curious to get a feel for how big that amp might be.

Looks like I'll have to use my wife's Subaru to move my stuff around.

Thanks for the input. Maybe I'll just go with two smaller cabs instead of a big one. I think a 210 or 112 can fit on the rear seat and another on the front seat.

3 bodies

Keep in mind the rear seats fold down. I could fit a bunch of lacrosse defense sticks in my trunk with no problem. (They are 6 feet long)

I tried to fit my 4x12" cab back there.... no go. if that hump wasnt there, it might work, I tried to get it in thru the passanger door too, but its too dman heavy to maneuver thru there. so yeah, there aint no way to get it in. a fender twin fits nicely on the folded down back seats tho, with the guitar thrown in the trunk.

You think that's bad, try a Vert... That plus the Shaker 1000 means that I can't get anything bigger than a lunch box in the trunk.

How 'bout a more "everyday" example: Could you go to the store, buy a microwave oven in the box, and fit the box in the trunk?

When I had my '05, I'd throw a beach towel over the front passenger seat (to avoid scratches on the leather) and move the seat as far back as it would go to carry things such as a microwave box. Easier access and more vertical space than in the trunk. This is assuming you have no passengers...

Yes, You will be fine. My husbands clubs fit horizontally in my trunk (he doesn't have a cart though) But you could always flip down one of the rear seats and they will fit vertically no problem.

My problem is, I normally have my kids with me when I get in a buying mood, so its fit it in the trunk or go without.

Seats in the verts don't fold down

But yes, clubs do fit. I can put my clubs and pull cart in there easily, or 2 sets of clubs. If I want 2 sets and the pull cart, I have to take the wheels off the pull cart, but it all fits...

After 2 bottles of nitrous and a 12 pack, who cares about trunk space?

I don't have a vert, but two bags fit in the trunk of my coupe without any problems.
