wow thats tough. If you really don't care about the performance, then a drop top will be an entirely different experience. The V6 is not so much of a slouch either. Just make SURE you add the pony package, it really does wonders for the V6 for pennies on the dollar for what you get. If it's about payments though, don't forget you are adding another year on there to lower the monthly. I would also see if the V6 insurance is a great saving too. But again, I wouldn't miss the pony package or will really feel like a step down.

Dude the idea of a 'd-tag' for the night is to get you to fall in love with it. believe me I know. I didn't realize you lived in MD, not to far away from me. Are they offering an 05 or 06 vert? And how did they lower the payment for the same price car? Did you put a ton of money down on the car you have now or do something weird with the financing like extend the term? I know the 05 V6 has incredible finance rates.

Well by term I mean if you had this car for a year of payments and get a new car with the same term you added another year of payments

Oh, well get the pony package if you do it. lol you d-tagged yourself and now you're really thinking. We in sales are our own worst customers....Just DX one in. You could always lease it for 24 and be done with it, the residuals and lease factor rock right now(first paymet, no aquisition fee...). I figured in 2 years something 'cooler' would come along so I didn't want to commit to anything now and a GT would make me mod-crazy. I don't know if I would do it on an 05

That's like asking someone if you should trade in your .44 Magnum for a swiss-army knife

Is this a joke??????????????

Keep the GT

I'm not hating on the v6 guys, but who in their right mind would want to downgrade the Mustang to a pusstang?
