Hey guys,

I thought I'd start a ticket thread to make all of us who've gotten tickets thusfar feel better about it by seeing all the others out there in the same boat.

I personally just got a careless driving ticket about a week ago on the express way for going about 100.. 3 points!

I got a wreckless operation about a month ago for doing a burnout in a friends driveway that is longer than some of the darn streets around his house. Made a few calls, got it reduced to a no seat belt ticket.

I don't think anyone is feeling proud because they got a ticket :nono: . I'm sure they don't feel AS bad knowing that others are getting tickets as well.

I didn't think you could get a ticket on private property without owners consent.

I noticed I get a lot more attention from the police in this car. Got pulled over once for doing 78 in a 55, but the kind officer let me off, after he joked he was going to give me 6 tickets. I think my military ID helped a little.

I also got followed one night in a small town by a local cop, I'm sure because I had my fog lights on, which look like hi beams. But he just followed me until out of town, then turned around.

So far, so good. Also got an Escort 8500 X50, but I'm knocking on wood to not jinx myself.

I got one in NC going 80 in a 55. It cost me $125 for the ticket and another $125 for the lawyer to get it changed to a "improper equipment" charge. At least it did not go against my driving record.

Note to all California drivers, if you get a ticket--Fight it! I went to www.ticketassassin.com, used all his advice & forms and beat my ticket. I was going 15mph over the speed limit in a residential area!

Just an FYI

Anyways, me and my lady were taking the scenic route home from a BBQ. I was having some fun, accelerating from 60 to 100, the braking, the 60 to 100 again. I got busted braking. He got me at 70 in a 55. I had no idea it was a 55 mph highway, I thought it was an interstate! I'm just glad he got me at 70 and not 100 (or more).

A friend of mine got clocked at over 180 mph in his GT Porsche on the I-15. He was being followed by a CHP airplane who could not keep up with him. LOL

He spent a couple of days in jail plus paid a fine and lost his license for a year. OUCH!

We had a crotch rocket here in Minnesota clocked by airplane doing over 200. Made big news for a while. I believe person faught it saying there's no way his bike could go over 200. I believe the speed was reduced down to around 150 or so. Minnesota people can correct me if I have the outcome incorrect. But could you imagine going that speed on a local highway on a motorcycle?

Talking

I got a ticket going 50 in a 40. I also didn't have any plates on. (First week when I got my car...didn't wanna leave dealer tags on it ) HOWEVER, the officer wrote down 50 in a 35, which is a mistake on his part. I talked to my judge...Court date is the 19th of October. He said if I can prove the officer wrong, he will dismiss it.

Then 3 months later I got pulled over for having no FRONT plates. :nono:

AAAAAAAAAAND I just got a darn parking ticket for not having my college permit hanging on my mirror.

He's right, no crotch rocket manufacturers let their cars go that fast. they gear them to top at 188mph (300kph).

The new zx-10r ninja does 102mph in first gear lol. Will hit 180mph in about 14 seconds. Tops out at over 200mph. Runs low 9 second quarter mile stock. And costs only 11 grand lol. Thats bang for your buck.

My friend just traded his zx-7r in for a 10r, and hes actually wishing he hadnt because its just insane fast. (he got the dual ram air one, 184hp to 375 lbs lol).

On topic: No tickets for me yet, but i get followed everywhere, its freaking annoying. Cops here in ahwatukee (phoenix) are a little more leniant with the radar, generally give u 10mph over the speedlimit. I've pass plenty of radar traps going up to 7mph over, and havent been ticketed yet. Got pulled over doin 13mph over but got off with a warning.
