So I called Santa Margarita Ford last night, to see if the two GT's they had were on the floor. And they were!
So I rushed home, grabbed my camara, and headed out to RSM.
I park the car...my hands shaking I am so excited...and literally run past the scavenger salesman in the front and yell "I already ordered one" as I run past. I get inside.
04 Thunderbird....nope.
65 Coupe.....nice, but nope.
04 Expedition....nope.
Its not here.
So I find the nearest salesman and ask him where the two 05's are. He gives me a strange look...probably because I am panting from running, and look like a small child who can't find there mom in the store.
He tells me the Sonic Blue is being worked on in the back, and the Torch V6 (yeah...not a GT) is being detailed. He says, lets go back and take a look at them.
I swear it took forever for that golf cart to get to the back of the dealership. As we turn the corned...I see it.....an 05 Sonic Blue GT. I just about had an explosion in my pants. We pull up next to it, and I see a guy working on it on the inside. I ask the salesman if he thinks he would mind if I took some pics.
"Um, yeah he would...you can't take any pictures".
Now,my spirits are crushed...the first thing that pops in my head is the image of 10 smily faces holding up signs that say "This thread is worthless without pics"
I ask him why, and he says the guy is installing LoJack right now, and you can't see where he is putting it. Oh, and btw...I saw where he was putting it...so if you see me driving a blue 05....um.....its not mine. lol.
I ask him if we cold see the v6. He says, sure. So we drive more, and I see the beast.
05 Torch Red GT with red interior. The red interior is NICE. Not really flashy or "orangey" at all. very classy.
There were 4 worker dudes waxing it, and man....it is beautiful. The interior....very on par with my expectations. My friend has a 99 Audi A4. The interior in this car surpasses it...and is about the same as my other friends 96 BMW M3. No lie. Very modern, yet classy, and at the same time...sporty. Kudos to the interior desiners.
I am building a speaker box for the trunk...so I was able to only take a few pictures of the trunk for measurement purposes. Just to prove I was there....here is a pic I took.

it had the premium.
Like I said, the guys were in the middle of waxing it...so I asked them if I could take some pics. They all stopped...and I had 5 angry Hispanic guys staring at me as I took the pictures. I was kind of in a hurry.
I could go again...It will be there till Friday, when the owner picks it up.

oh, and I think your right on the Redfire...I was so excited....omg...
for some reason, it seemed bigger in person. maybe its because I have only seen pictures. Its really a scary looking car....it looks MEAN....even the V6. Definitly not a car to underestimate, or to call a daily driver for women.

awesome job, I love how everyone is running to their dealerships to see this car. Not too many cars have caused this much of a frenzy before.
