Side Mirror Disassembly...
 

Hey everyone I am wondering if anyone knows how to disassemble the side mirrors?? When I bought my Bullitt, the guy that had it before must have been an older guy with a narrow garage, so he stuck these huge circle blindspot mirrors on the side mirror glass. I was able to get them off using fishing line, goo gone and a razor blade but I did end up scratching each mirror glass pretty good. I finally found brand new mirror glass on the brackets but now I don't know how to take mine apart. I called Ford and of course they said that these were not servicable and I needed to replace the whole mirror assembly. If anyone can help me out with a walkthrough I would really appreciate it!! Thanks everyone!!

If I recall when I replaced these mirrors with Agent 47, it was necessary to remove the motors from the stock mirrors.
Simply pry up on the mirror and it will snap out. The mirror is not screwed in. You will have to use a little pressure but that's all there is to it.

Agent 47 website may have an online install procedure since you have to take your old mirror apart to use their mirror.
