Shipped!
 

As of July 3, 2006 my car has been shipped with an estimated delivery date week of July 11, 2006.

NOW I'm getting excited. It wasn't too bad when the car wasn't even built, but now that it's been put together... I'm getting butterflies!

Congratulations! Looks like a few of us will be getting our cars next week. Mine's sched to be here on the 12th, BeBeep's is sched to arrive on the 11th I think.

How do I find out where the rail car she is on is? All the ERL told me was it had been shipped via rail carrier.

Tony, when is your car due in?

My car is somewhere in Illinois, but I can't understand the robot lady/man/thing's voice as to where. Actually, Illinois is just about the only useful thing I could understand. The rest sounded garbled. :D

EDIT: Turns out I didn't hear the robot thing right at all. My vehicle departed Minnesota today (7/10).

It is scheduled to be built the week of July 24, with delivery sometime within 14 days or less after that. I am hoping the first week of August.

Based on when the ERL state that mine will be shipped (will be built on 7/18), I would think that you are looking at second week of August...

Based on the close proximity of the plant to Cincinnati (straight down I75 about 230 miles), the dealer thinks it could be the first week of August. Of course, it could be more on the longer end of the wait. I assume it will depend on other variables (day of the week for production, transport availability, quality checks, etc.).

I would be elated if it were that first week!
