Shaker 500

I know that the Shaker 500 is rated at 500 watts, which is a lot for a stock stereo. Do we know if it is the head unit that is supplying the power, or is there an amp somewhere in the car?

Theres amps
No doubt about it.

The Mach460 is 460 watts peak...and has 3 amps.

1 in the unit.
2 mounted in the trunk below the woofers.

the 500 probably has 3 trunk mounted and 1 in the unit I assume....
