ok it may sound like a dumb question, but I checked the forums for an answer and couldn't find it.

My question is will the SCT Xcal help shifting points in an automatic? like bring it close to the shifting of a manual.

Also will the SCT Xcal increase the top speed? because I want to put 4.10 gears on my V6 when I get it and don't want to be limited by the top speed?

thanks for all help, and for putting up with my lack of knowledge

Yes, the SCT group has some nice shifting / tranny mods that allow it to shift at different points (higher or lower) and shift firmer . Ads far as top speed, the SCT can remove the rev and speed limiters as needed.
