question about pullies?

1 question i have about these as i was thinking about change mine for the 10-15 extra HP/TQ but 1 question is do they have any negative effect? like the 25% accessory drain they eliminate..does that mean my A/C is going to work warmer or what?

Your AC will not work as good at low engine speed. Works fine at higher engine speed. Charging does not seem to be affected nor does water pump / temperature. I live in OK where it is normal for the temperature to be at or around 100 degrees for a couple months in the summer and I havent had any regrets about the pullies as far as AC goes.

cool

do you feel a noticable difference in power?

Seems to rev a little quicker. After the pullies. No real big seat of the pants difference though.

Also get a good set of pullies, The mod motors use powdered metal components in the oil pump (the pump sits on the snout of the crank) and pulley sets which cannot effectively control vibration will cause the oil pump componets to shatter.

I never had a problem with the SLP pullies on my 02 GT and I guess that the Steeda pullies would be good due to the tech transfer program, but dont invest in a cheap set to save a few bucks.
