Prices-internet or XPlan?

I was just wondering if "internet prices" are better than X Plan? Does geography matter? I know someone who bought a 350Z down south and got a much better price by working with the internet department than he would have even a couple of states up. Any input?

More than likely not. About the only way you will get below X plan is if you have family that can get you on A plan. Any lower than Xplan and the dealer is cutting into their holdback and apparently that rarely happens if ever.

The exception being when they have a promotion for cash back like now on the 07s. Of course you get that off your Xplan price also.

Location can play a part. If a dealer in the middle of farm country (aka - pickup country) has a stang on the lot for a couple months because he had to take his allotment, then he might take the hit. Dealers get compensated by Ford for X-plan sales. If they sell that low on their own they're out of pocket.
