I was under the Impression you could only get a Inspection in the County your vehicle is regestered in.

Am I wrong?

No not at all. But if he is in Harris county more often than not it shouldn't be a problem. I have a friend that works out of Louisiana but doesn't live there. He was getting stopped often enough for not having a valid inspection sticker that he went ahead and got one in Louisiana. So far he hasn't had any problems and I've actually seen other people do it to

It's a federal law to have to run cats on the street. Even if your local county or state laws allow you to "get away" without them, a police officer can stop you and fine you 30K. This happened to my son, who insisted on running without the cats on his SRT4 Dodge. It cost him lawyer fees to get out of the fine, but that was still $2500.00.

I'd run some good flow cats with the system.

It takes a couple drive cycles for the light to set.
