I've been working on figuring out what is draining my battery.
I've Narrowed it down to this (see pic).
My question is, what does the circled entails?
What should I be looking for?
Any help would be much appreciated.
The ISM wiring: https://iihs.net/fsm/?d=40&f=Remote%...nd%20Alarm.pdf
You can see at the 'top' (which is really the 'left' if it's turned counter clockwise to correct orientation) the circuit itself. The power for the ISM is used to monitor the two motion sensors located in the overhead console (aka where the map lights are.) As you can see also, there's a 'ghost' connector for the convertible. I'm guessing (because finding it is a pill at the moment) that there's a condition of the convertible top being down that will disable the motion sensors and/or the ISM itself.
The climate control wiring: https://iihs.net/fsm/?d=40&f=Manual%...System.pdf&p=2
You can see at the right middle-ish (unless counter clockwise yadda yadda) that that same fuse runs VBATT for the climate control Just a power in. They decided to use this one fuse for both is all.
So, that's... pretty much what you'd expect for that fuse, I suppose. *Real* helpful there, houtex....
Still, those are the thing. You're looking at either the climate control box or the ISM. C930 for the ISM is in the roof, so you'd be taking the overhead console off and disconnecting it to take out that drain: https://iihs.net/fsm/?d=40&f=Compone...0Views.pdf&p=5
So... there ya go. I'd probably attack the ISM/Overhead console first, seems like that'd be easier, given that to get to the Climate one you'd have to take the car apart a little more (center console out, side panels off, then off ya go with the center stack...) You may have to do both, though. Take them both out and see what's happening after that. If there's still a drain and they're not there, you're starting at F10 of the SJB, which means you're taking the SJB out to do some testing from there. And/or the SJB may or may not be one of the lucky ones what got corroded from water. Surely not, of course. I'm sorry to have even suggested such.
This of course assumes no wiring shenanigans such as something tacked on to that circuit for power.
