My new 2007 Mustang in race red (corrected to torch red) by moderator
I remember this as if his was yesterday, a 2007 Mustang, It was 16 years ago? It was one of many Mustang cars that I used for business purposes. I had over 75K IRS business miles on it before I bought the 2010 Mustang (other thread).
I changed the oil and took good care of the car. It was always very reliable with not one issue other than new tires. It had a CD and cassette music player (very rare now).

A Modern Classic!
I just didn't get the vibe on the S197 cars? I still owned one for 60.000 miles
I have the same user name, but the site is not as good as here.
It Was Definetely The Site For S-197'S During 04-10 No Doubt!
For One Thing We Had A Lot of the Good Intel! & That Helped!
Some Parts Guy Figured Out How To Exploit Back Door Ford Corporate Parts Info to Predict Future Models & Changes Way Ahead of The Curve! Can't Recall what That Guys Name Was!
But Mostly We Had a Lot of Really Good People Who Just Loved that Car! Everybody Just Jelled! Brad Started This Site at Just the Right Time and The car Was The Right Car at That time!

Actually, the color Race Red did not exist for the S197 Mustang until the 2011 model year... All 2005-2010 S197 Mustangs were available in Torch Red, Red Fire Metallic from 2005-07 and Dark Candy Apple Red Metallic (2008-09 GT/CS)

Sorry. I have MSRP somewhere. The car looked good to me.
Wasn't there big tuner guy in GA also associated with the 4.6L engine? My S197 was my company car, and most of my extra wasted money was in the 1965 Mustang race car..
The time goes by fast when a guy is really enjoying life as a car guy.

No worries, Doc! We're all car guys here... Meanwhile, I went ahead and corrected your thread title description from Race Red to Torch Red just to make certain we're all on the same page... Also, the tuner guy you're referring to who was associated with the S197 Mustang 4.6L 3v was Doug Studdard from AL who was the founder of Bamachips Custom Tuning... He eventually sold his tuning business to American Muscle which then became known as AM/Bama Custom Tuning!
