Well It's been a while since I updated this so here goes. This Winter I am installing a Procharger, Science Friction 26 spline clutch, BMR sway bar delete rad support, Shaftmasters drive shaft and Saleen big brake kit.

June 5/2010

Blew my clutch. Here is a picture of it awaiting it's transplant.

And here it is installed.

June 10/2010

Changed the map light and visors and dyed the headliner.

June 25/2010

Installed UMI Performance Lower Control Arm Relocation Brackets.

July 18/2010

Installed 12" Matte Black Stripes.

September 5/2010

Painted rims black and got rid of the Shaker in prep for the super charger.

October 17/2010

Removed interior for Saleen install.

October 21/2010

New Interior Installed.

November 17/2010

UPR Catch can installed.

December 4/2010

News transmission with input shaft removed. Sending out to be converted to 26 spline to handle the torque.

Why did you go from leather to cloth?

Usually people do just the opposite.
Just curious.

Love the stripes.
I have the same Black GT with flat black stripes but I also have a 1/2" pin on both sides of the 12" stripes.

I am just not a fan of leather. Plus had I kept the grey leather I'd be screwed now.....

I hated the fact that the My Color only changes the cluster. I didn't like the green color of all the buttons etc so I changed all the LED's to blue.

New clutch slave cylinder and line. Stock line is plastic and runs right by the exhaust and when it heats up expands not allowing the clutch to disengage fully.

New Shaftmasters drive shaft. 22lbs lighter than the clunky 2 piece OEM one.

Decided to go a different route with the clutch. Initially I had a Kevlar clutch disc but after reading up on it it's geared more to a car that sees a lot of track with some daily driving. They tend to overheat in stop and go city driving. This does not wreck it but it does glaze it meaning I would have to break it in again. I decided on a Carbon/Kevlar. It has Kevlar wool embedded it it and has pretty much the same gripping power as the Kevlar except it is less susceptible to overheating in city driving. Also got the input shaft back today and got the transmission back together.

Clutch

Trans with 26 spline hardened shaft and new slave cylinder.

Brakes were next up on my to do list, I have Baer Pro Plus 6P part number 4261121R on order. What attracted you to Saleen brakes?

I really like the matte black stripes on the black......looks menacing!

I want to eventually put alloy metallic on my LL and get a Saleen Super Shaker charger.....just waiting for a good sale on the charger.

Thanks for the tips earlier on the install for the headers, but I think I am biting off more than I can chew and probably will get a shop to do the install.

How do you like the Nitto tires?

They are just the Regular 555's. I like them. Nice and quiet and hook up fairly quick.
