The matrix; understood.. Mustang or F150, you'll be in the 30k range give or take. I like both but it's all in what you want, however, you don't need OUR opinion to spend YOUR money.. And talk all the smack they may but no one here dropped V6 money on a brand new loaded up GT. Not happening, because the dealers are gonna get theirs, you can best believe that.

I just bought an 08 Mustang GT and wasn't even close to the MSRP of 30k. If you pay sticker right now it's either a special edition or you're a consumer who believes everything the producer and their marketing staff (dealers) tells you.

I don't mind discussing the topic in a civilized forum and all that, but, umm... he did open the topic up in a public forum. And no one mentioned buying a steak for the price of hamburger. But you can get a darn close compromise by knowing how to cook and where to buy a USDA Choice bottom round roast.

yeah after the conversion to right hand drive. Since each car converted is basically a custom car, I would expect it to cost an assload. $130k is a little rediculous though. Do you have a daughter I can marry? I wouldn't care if she's a fatty if you're that rich

Is that a Ford GT or a Mustang GT? j/k

That's... err.. that's pretty wrong. I mean, you guys get the awesome wines, the awesome beer, and the best **** long coats known to man, so it's gotta even out somewhere, right?

If it's a custom conversion as dustindu4 says, then it makes sense. I'm sure it'd cost that much to convert a TVR for US safety and emissions laws.... Doesn't stop people from trying to sneak 'em in uncoverted in modular cargo containers though.

Well lets see there is the purchase price and difference in exchange rate, transport and container cost, customs insp fees, but the big money is the 40% tax levy, the custon right hand drive conversion is 30k then compliance insp - plate - and rego for 7k, this all adds up to arround 120k the only good thing is that depriciation is about 2-3% cause there are only 200 or so S197s Down Under which makes them very much admired and desired. The Yummys line up for rides in it.

Well Gene K when the C6 was first out they where 250k but now arround 200-220k new and 150-180k 2nd hand hell C5s are still getting 100k.
I would hate to think what a Super Snake or KR would be as i haven't heard of any coming this way yet.

not in los angeles...

money is all relative, but either way, $100k+ for a mustang is amazing!
i'm guessing in other countries the mustang is definitely exotic and not the run of the mill vehicle.

back on topic: i would get the bullitt.

I was happy even with a higher payment, they paid off 2 cars for me. I went back for something not long after and they said they had to auction one and the other was my 07 GO. They said because it had no options they modded it. Here are the pics.

Wow! Talk about some exterior modding - don't know about the side scoops, but that glassback looks great with the flat black shaker hood and the black bullitt wheels. They could have carried it over and painted the rear wing and bottom rocker panels black as well.
