lower control arms
Well its that time to get them replaced and I might as well upgrade, I was looking at the GT500 ones or the BMR adjustable ones, but I really have no idea which would be better. please let me know if there is any other better options that I'm forgetting.

Lots of choices and several threads on this already.
I just added Metco LCA's and am very pleased, they are a bit pricier than other options. I wanted to stay away from the tubular design so I went with the billet design. Any choice will generally be better than stock. |
What's a tubular design?

The stock LCAs are stamped.
The GT500 units are reinforced stamped units. Basic aftermarket units are steel tubes with poly bushing ends. Some offer billet "I-Beam" style with poly bushings. I would recommend Steeda and I buy through Silver Horse Racing. Never an issue, good prices, the best service. |
I've only ever seen steeda rear lcas I need fronts

I got the gt500s cuz I didn't see a need to spend 600 on adjustable ones and steeda doesn't make front LCAs

So are you looking for front or rear. I have both replaced with nonadjustable BMR units. I have nothing to regret on the rear arms, they are vastly better than stock with no appreciable gain in NVH (there's always some gained w/ mods but its barely noticeable). The front comes down to whether you want performance and road feel or if you want comfort. They're not horrible but the front arms will add noticeable NVH

Well now I got the Ford racing front LCAs, so I wanna get upper control arms in the front to finish it off

I did relocation brackets with J&M LCA's with poly bushings, ran on the lowest setting on the bracket, and beat the snot out of the car for 4 years, held up like a champ, price is right and J&M support is outstanding!
