just ordered a MY07 GT
 

Like it says - I just ordered a MY07 GT, deluxe, black, dark charcoal, 5 speed, spoiler delete, fan blades.

What can I expect in the way of paperwork - what's a DORA and when can I get a copy of it?? I should be able to get it after the order is actually inputted into the system. Right?? Then after the DORA - I should be expecting a VIN soon. Can someone please explain what happens going forward.

The DORA is the dealer's acknowledgement from Ford that the order was received [Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement].. You have to ask for a copy as most dealers do not give it out.
You will receive a VIN after the order is submitted to the plant for production. When that happens depends on the allocation that your dealer has.
