Also another issue to think about is changing your oil. You want to make sure that once you have drained all of your old oil out you want to take a water hose and run water through the engine. Start the engine and run for exactly 2 min. After thoroughly cleaning out your old oil you are now ready to put in your new oil.
I have done this every 3,000 miles and and my car prrrrs like a kitten. It may make a strange noise at first but then it goes away.

This thread immediately reminded me of when I had just gotten married. My new wife and I were going over some maintence issues with her car, when I dropped the 'remember to change the air in your tires too' line. I had her completely convinced of it.
Was pretty darn funny. 19 years later and I still give her crap about that one....

And if you want to port and polish your valves, remember to take out the air filter and let the car suck up a bag of sand. Also, be absolutely sure that sand is dry, don't want it to gum anything up. Once you collect a bag's worth of sand out the tail pipes, it's all been worked through and it is then safe to put oil in again. If you add oil during the polish step, you're just asking for trouble.
And with that said, I like to use crude oil for best lubrication. Synthetic is fake, it's in the name! And processed oils are like processed food, no good.

I'm inclined to agree. However, I still can't figure out if this thread is serious or not.
Also, I would just like to inject that fan fluid IS real!

should I save the old tire air. Its still good for like basketballs and stuff like that right? And you guys stop trying to hijack this thread with all that stuff thats not related to the topic. polish<- valves and muffler bearings <- everyone knows you have to take it to the dealership for that stuff. Those bearings have to be heated up and and then pressed in

New EPA regulations require that you take the used tire air to a licensed and certified recycling center, instead of introducing it directly into the environment. Any place that sells tires should accept it, but a used tire dealer is probably the best place to take your old tire air.

I think everyone missed an important point...if you have imported tires on the car, for the best peformance, you should only use imported air. I prefer Italian, since my tires are Pirelli.

I think this might be even funnier than the original ridiculous posting from the OP. Thanks for the laugh!
