Great cars Dave,
Covering them in the garage shows your level of care for your cars.
Enjoy them both!

i always wanted to restore a old stang

wonder how much it costed you to restore it ..how much $ and how much time

that picture with them nose to nose almost made me spooge
We bought the 65 eight years ago for $7000 ,and we have put another $14000 in it so far. It will go in the shop in a couple of weeks to have a Stainless Steel Brake Corporation Disc Brake Upgrade. With that motor in it the current brakes do not stop it well enough.

Cool! Another black fastback. B)

I've been planning to get a black '06 to compliment my black '66, but lately silver has been drawing me off sides. Your pics are making me rethink that decision just so I can sport the double-black too.

I wonder if the '06 needs the black pearl flamejob too....

Ahh what a great problem to have, eh Dave?

WOW Dave..... saw your pics this past weekend but only got to reply now. BEAUTIFUL shots man - absolutely!!!

Double-edged sword - I am SO glad I ordered my '05 in BLACK....

But I am SO jealous of your book-end Black GTs

That 65 is spectacular. And they look so great together! Nice going!!

Love those pictures!
I have been thinking of getting red or silver on my next Stang, but after seeing those Stangs, I might go back to Black - like my 01 GT.

Nice cars dude!

Choices...choices...choices! Which one do I drive today?

Life IS good!

Beautiful cars, David. And they've found a good home to boot.

Can I move into your garage? Promise I won't make much noise.

Both are very sharp. I especially love how the '65's lower beltline and somewhat leaner, longer profile with a bit more glass area in the windows. I've never been much of a fan of the high-sideed, rolling gun bunker look that seems to be en vogue these days. The '05 looks a touch thick in the middle and heavy compared to the '05. The '05's rear looks particularly, well, ample relative to the '65's trim and taut derierre.

But make no mistake, BOTH are very sharp.
