Just a thought, but when someone REGRETTABLY gives up their wait for a new Stang... why not poll The Source for anyone (nearby) that might want that same car and be willing to take your place in line. If there really is a waitlist (and not just a national barrel they spin & draw from every other week) then there's a chance that someone shares your good taste. One of us may want the exact car you're giving-up and be able to shorten the wait by taking your place on your order.
I want all of us to get what we want, but if you're throwing in the "saddle blanket," why not share the love and "hand-off" your waitlisted spot to a fellow Stang lover?
Certainly not a fun thing to do, but a very honorable transfer of love for a great car!

1. I wouldn't want anyone to get screwed by my dealer the way I did.
2. The people who order now seem to be much better off than the people who ordered back in October. They would get the car 3 months earlier by ordering now than by taking my order.
