There is a new story on the Ford site home page. I think this means pricing is about to be released.

I agree that we will most likely see pricing tomorrow, or at least by the end of the week. No way will that wait until February, the cars will already be on lots before then and selling like hotcakes.

I belive the February comment was a joke.

My guess is that Ford will not officially announce prices until the big introduction on Sept 27. But, the pricing info. will unofficially leak out around Sept 20,

how much longer do we have to wait before they give a price on this car? they are dragggggggggging this out way to far now

tom_vilsack Sep 7, 2004 12:49 AM

Im hoping dan is right...but seeing how ford says the new mustang "coming fall 2004" maybe prices will be offical sept 22...

Kluski Sep 7, 2004 06:15 AM

They stated the V-6 is under $20,000, but they did not say the GT is still under $25,000.

Hopefully they aren't holding back pricing because they are going to issue pricing higher than expected.

I'm glad to see the V6 is under $20k, I read a few reports that indicated otherwise. Since I'm getting the V6 this is great news... Now I can get all the upgrades and come in around 24k MSRP :nice: :nice:

I guess this is what happens when you have no real competition. If the Camaro and Firebird were still around, I am sure we would have had all the info we wanted.

wrb Sep 7, 2004 08:41 AM

I think it has more to do with left over 2004's. Woody Anderson had 37 on his lot as of this weekend.
