Part of the mistique of the car for sure. It wouldn't capture what they were going for without them. They're fine. I will say, it's personal preference. There will of course be people who don't like them. I think the vast majority will.

I think they look awesome. But what I would change is to move them outward another inch or two so that they are as close to the headlights as possible while still being in the grile. Just like the '69s were. :worship:

Please tell me how you plan to run those aircraft lights on 12 Volts? I am not sure if I like them or not but am thinking of smoke covers if I can locate the plastic. Tint film would work but might be too dark for light to shine through. I will have to check this out for sure. I will go by and pick up a sealed beam unit then take it to the tint shop along with a motorcycle battery. Several layers of yellow plastic wrap make great fog lights.

The fogs are too big and, In the wrong place.
The entire reason to even have fog lights on a car is to get a wide beam down low below your line of site. This way the light will light the road and not reflect back in your eyes. They should be below the bumper. High beams in the grill with lower fogs would have been a better idea.

I always thought fogs were supposed to be yellow too. Come on SE with the GTR light treatment.
On an unrelated high-jacked thread note, I see CDC has a ducktail for the 05's, and I saw an 05 hood with a shaker the hood was reminescent of the 69-70 hoods (which I'm undecided on). Man GT-R lights, shaker hood, ducktail. some honeycomb panels between the tail lights and a 5.4 3v V8 sporting a nice displacment induced 350 hp and something a bit steeper than 3.55 gears. Instant Mach 1.

I didnt like them at all when i saw pics of GT.But when you see the car in person they really dont look too bad.I was kinda thinking they would look better like the 99-2004 ones, but guess that would take away from the killer retro look.

At first I thought the fogs were too big, but they have grown on me, and now I wouldn't want them changed! They rock!! It definitely makes the front end of the new Mustang!
