This. Makeshift ramp costs a lot less than a new jack.

We use the Craftsman aluminum racing jacks at the track and at home. Have heard a lot of nay-say about them online but we've never had a problem w/ ours, our group of racers uses 4 of them.

I went to harbor freight today and got a 2 ton floor jack for $25! It isn't a low profile jack or a "racing" jack, but it fits under the car easily since my car isn't lowered. I thought that was a pretty good deal.

I've seen the diagram for the jacking points, but I've heard that isn't the correct diagram for the S197. Could you guys post some pictures of where you like to place your floor jack when jacking the entire front end up?
