It's not bad Steve. I have the CS6 grille as well but I don't really like the PIAA fogs to much. I wish SAI would sell the grille without the fogs like they have on the black CS6 prototype but no go. I am actually looking around for another grille. Still love the center fogs but exploring the fogless look a little.
If you ever going to be down this way let me know. Maybe we can meet up at Towers or something and you can see how they go together. |
I really like the way the grille looks , but the way the lights are made they put very little light on the road. I just had one of the PIAA bulbs burn out , and as much as they want for the lights I assume the bulbs won't be cheap either , so I been considering changing grilles ...
I've too have thought about a grille without lights in it , but I do want some fog or driving lights. If I could find some small rectangular lights to go in the opening below , I might try that. Of if they had made the hole round instead of rectangular , I would probably would have already done it ... The OEM fogs definitely put more light on the road , but I always thought they were a little too big. That's why I kind of like the pony package grille , the lights are considerably smaller , but probably put out about the same level of light ... I was going to try to get down there to meet Burke001 and a couple of you guy's for the 911 cruise , but something came up and I didn't. I'm actually down there on Sundays at Markham Park at the mountain bike trails , maybe we can meet sometime after I ride ... |
Sure..I live close, 10 minutes from Markham.
