Took 4 days but got it done.
I took off all the panels, watersanded them and prepared the striping so the paint shop could do thier handywork.
I still wasnt decided on which colour to choose,
Black or Red.
So he suggested Black cherry pearl. Black in the shade but dark cherry red in the sun. Man he did an awsome job.
But I guess the black side GT 350 decal is out of the question now. Oh well.

Are you still going with the 3d-carbon boyracer hood(self build)

Yes I am but have to wait till the welder finishes the welding. At this rate i could have taken a course in aluminum welding and did it myself.

Ok, it looks cool. But why pay to paint the hood when you are replacing it? Won't you have to have the other hood painted as well?

Just curious. Again it looks good.

Good question. I figured if later down the road i want to put the stock hood back on, ooooorrr, sell the car and the new owner hates the boy racer hood, it will be already painted and ready to go. Also the paint is specially mixed with pearl and may be hard to match down the road. (he kept some aside for the new hood).

Well Looks great. But I would love to see that on a coupe. The convertible sort of takes away from the full striping. But none the less, the job looks great.

Just curious -your sig says you have red leather but the pics look like the interior is the light graphite. Is the tint on the window making the red look washed out?

If it IS the light graphite, how do you like it? And, do you have any pics of the interior?

Lastly, the stripes look great. I love the black cherry look in the sunlight. Nice touch!

EDIT: Perhaps you have a seat cover over the driver's side? I looked again and it does look like the passenger's side is red but the D/S is grey.

That is a sweet color. That's a color they need to put on the whole car. w/silver strips.

Perfect look.
