Well, another story of someone receiving their car, this time it's me. When I ordered mine in February, I never saw any on the road, now there are 3 black Mustangs (a GT, a V6 and a V6 vert) on my street. I was hoping to have the first, oh well.

Mine arrived at the dealer later this afternoon. I drove by, got out and walked around to the back after they were closed and spotted it. I've seen many 2005's now, but seeing mine, the one I had built to my exact specs was quite a thrill. I've still never even driven a GT, only the V6 several times from the ones in dealer stock. I assume they'll phone me tomorrow and if all goes well I'll be driving it home tomorrow evening.

Here are some photos, the final photo is of my very first car, a 1980 4 banger black Mustang complete with handmade headlight covers. I think it got about 95 horsepower.

My 1980 black 4 banger. The engine was rebuilt 3 times, I haven't had a Ford since selling this in 1984. We've come a long way since then, I was 16 when I got it (used), now I'm 39. I never thought I'd ever have another Mustang, even though I always liked them, I felt I'd be driving different cars, but I couldn't resist this 2005 model. That 4 banger, believe it or not, got a lot of positive attention back then, I haven't had a car quite like that since.

Well, the deal is up in the air because I just found out, after all this time, that if I put the car in my company's name, I can't use the X plan!
This car may be available and I may have to settle for something else.

I just assumed a business could use the Xplan, it's my fault I guess, but it still stinks.

Hmm, just came from Mazda and they are willing to give me the discounts even if I put it in the name of my business. Hmmm, very interesting.

Couldn't you buy it for yourself now & then sell it to your company later?

Yes, that's an option the salesman suggested, however the downpayment is coming from a company account.
