BA in political science from Gonzaga. That is why I work as an IT geek. Couldn't afford law school after the Jesuits took all of my money. Just hope the basketball team doesn't choke this year like they did last year.

BA Sociology/Pre-Med, University of Notre Dame (conferred 2001)

MA Sociology, Univerisity of Michigan (conferred 2003)

MS Statistics, University of Michigan (exp. 4/06)

Ph.D. Public Policy, University of Michigan (exp. 4/06)

Ph.D. Sociology and Demography, University of Michigan (exp. 4/06)

Everything else, I learned from TMS, however.

p.s. Education is more commonly considered an SES (socioeconomic status) measure than a demographic one per se....

Hey Tony..... what's next? My brother got his Master's in Sociology, and now he does real estate, financing, building.... the whole 9 yards.... nothing to do with his degree...
it's a funny thing, Sociology is. Are you a professor? I didn't know they hired sociologists for anything else...

Hired us? You are suggesting that Sociologists are actually employed, no?

I go on the market next academic year, and will likely take a research position in Academe or in D.C., though I'm not completely opposed to teaching, at least in principle. Alas, very few of my teaching colleagues see 6 figure salaries, and I want....no...NEED my Aston far too badly!!!

Associates - ITT Tech
Bachelors - ITT Tech (Currently Working On)
Masters in Business - Portland State University (Next up!)

I would have gone to the local community college then transfered to Portland State. But, unfortunately I took the "straight to fulltime" approach out of high school and got good money to start and my lifestyle well... It adjusted with it. So unable to drop my job and finding a 2-year in my situation would take roughly 6 years I opted for the tech school route until I complete that and move on to PSU, go Vikes!.

Not considered demographics, I kinda realized that later, I had another intention for the poll but I thought it'd be too mean so I changed it to education.

Dang... I graduated from high school 5 years ago and still have 2 years left before I get my degree... I think its a BS degree though. Kind of doesn't help that counselors/advisors have no advice for me when I ask them questions. And no, I haven't taken any time off. I've had "2 years left" since I transferred from the community college to the university. I hate school.
