I will be getting a Black 2005 GT and I can't decide which wheels to put on it. I really like the Torq-Thrust II but I can't decide between the Classics and and the Polished.
Classics:

Polished:

Should I get the 17s or the 18s? I would like to hear everyone's opinion and if someone could photoshop both wheels onto a Black car for me that would help a lot. Also I will probably get these extras because they would look really nice:

Polished wheels are ideal for a black car. They provide good contrast and stand out but not as much as chrome wheels would.

I think the classic will look menacing.

These aren't the same wheels, but, similar color.

I personally think the TT classics look too much like the current Bullitt wheels on the car and will not make the wheels stand out in a crowd.

I'm quite the torq thrust fan, and I'll tell you imo bullitts don't even come close. Here's a quickie for ya.

Can you get the knock-off's (or "spinners") for those Halibrands like the V6 Stang?

I like the classics better because I like the gunmetal/black/silver color theme on Black Mustangs

which is what I will be getting....a black Stang with dk. gray int. and IUP with bullitts

Good luck getting Halibrands. Halibrand went out of business. Unless those wheels are just left overs from a production run or someone is licensing the name.

Classics. Hands down.

Ford offers the current 17" Bullitt wheels (basically the same design) in a painted black finish too- i bet they'd look great on a black car. I did hear somewhere that they wouldn't fit the '05 however.

I just wish these Magnum 500s came in 17s or 18s for the '05:
