Does anyone have a convertible with the spoiler delete? If so, can you still see the edge of the trunk when backing up with the top down?

Hi, I've got that, and I have to admit, it's tough to se the trunk line with the top up much less down. I end up using the side mirrors to see my tail end. Of course, here in DC I'm not doing much top down driving right now.

Thanks for the info. I like the clean look of not having the rear spoiler, but I was worried I wouldn't be able to see the tip of the trunk lid when backing up. I got kind of spoiled with an old Corvette roadster I used to have. With it being a 2-seater and the top being stowed totally out of sight, you could see EXACTLY where the back of the rear deck ended, making parallel parking, etc. an absolute breeze.

Darth, do you have pix posted anywhere of your 'vert? I'd love to see what it looks like. I've seen pix of a Tungsten hardtop without the spoiler, but not a 'vert. Thanks.

Backing is no problem. It is a matter of getting used to the rear's height.

I can't see mine either, but it isn't an issue. I like the clean look it gives with the top down.

All it takes is getting used to the height. Still the side mirrors really help

I specifically wanted one without the spoiler...I just don't think it looks "right". Anyway, IMHO the back trunk is so short it really doesn't matter.
