Cloth or Vinyl Roof?
I have ordered a GT vert and am wondering on whether to go cloth or vinyl top. I understand the cloth is better looking and is the same material as used on the Jag so has some history but what about durability staining, fading ,etc.
Which way should I go and why?
Ordered:
Tungsten Grey GT
5 speed stick
IUP - aluminum panel
Color Accent Package - black & dove
Side air bags

They only had vinyl for 2006 - so far it has held up quite well and really looks great. My previous car had a cloth top (99 Sebring) and it has worn quite well. Given the choice, I think cloth looks better, but your best bet is to try to see two side by side or at least see each one on a mustang and go with what you like.
