Ok so Ford stepped up (or someone at the Ford campus) and saved Crystal Cove and not only saved it made it much better. Crystal Cove is now known as Cars and Coffee and has moved to The Ford Motor Car Company Premier Automotive Group ("PAG") building --- North American home of Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo and Ford's Advanced Design Studio and centrally located in the middle of the Irvine Spectrum. Location is 7905 Gateway Irvine CA 92618, intersection of Alton and Gateway, right on the 5 Freeway, one mile north of the El Toro Y where the 405 and 5 meet. Right by the Spectrum Center. Normal CC hours (so far) 7am-10am, and Ford has opened up their cafeteria to those attending, coffee, pastries and other food and beverages. Two parking lots, one is designated for spectator parking and one for show parking which can easily hold over 600 cars. There is a "featured car" parking area; today was the Porsches turn and they had a lot of cars. No mad dashes for parking spots, no lame cops or security gaurds, no more *****y community, just people having fun in a more relaxing location; only down side is there isnt a great view of the ocean.

The last few pics in Franks gallery are of the "10" meet (another CC alternative). Much smaller alternative and could be a very good choice for after C&C as a stop for lunch, they have what looks like a killer menu and I love Paninis.

The Ten Restaurant group is located at 4647 MacArthur Boulevard Newport Beach, CA 92660. Daniel Sadek is one of the owners of Tentations, he is the producer of the Redline movie and is also the owner of the SLR, Enzo, Murci Roadster and Ford GT in those last pics in Jays gallery. He also owns the only CCX in the U.S right now so it may show up at some point.

CC is officially dead at its old location, today there were nothing but normal coffee goers with normal cars and a whole bunch of security gaurds, real small crowd, oh well I guess they were right we were taking away from their business...lol.

And at 333 on PCH and Bayside, there was a good-sized group of people with a dozen classics or so.

Seriously, after looking at the photos, that is something that I would most love to see and like nothing i have seen before!

I have seen cars such as many of those before, but never so many of such apparent caliber together. What a truly astonishing sight that must be.

Is that in LA or SD. My sister just moved to SD and I may have to make a trip.

What is the best time, summer, fall, spring, winter?????
