Hello everyone, I've been following the forums for a couple of months and decided to join today.

One reason I joined was to find out if anyone is intrested in carbon fiber parts. I work at a place that makes composites and I've been working on setting up a side business to make mustang parts because they are so popular and I love the car. Things we've been discussing to make are interior pieces (not the cruddy stickers, the actual part made out of carbon fiber), front splitter, and carbon fiber side mirrors, which would be a HUGE improvement over the plastic ones.

I would love to hear your responses and to give ideas of what else on the car you would like to see become carbon fiber.

What is your time-line for Side Mirror's and rear blackout panels?? Also would like to see a "good-fit" Steering wheel Kit.

I would love to be able to add a CF cdc spoiler,CF mirrors, and a CF Tonnau (SP?) cover on my black vert. Can you make that wish come true?

How about license plate frames? A plenum cover like Midwest Auto Gear produces?

How about for those of us considering a rear seat delete, having a carbon fiber enclosure case to house a woofer or two (plus amp)?

Why do you have to be "defiant" about it?

I'd like some carbon fiber side window scoops. Ones that actually have intake and outake vents.

I would vote for GT and Cobra specific parts, front splitter, side mirrors, tail light panel, engine cover and some interior bits.

Engine bay covers i.e., like fuse box, battery, radiator cover and other areas. Ahh the firewall (that is ugly). Underside of the hood cover. Decklid underside.

The carbon fiber mirror prototype is finished! The part turned out well and helped us learn what we need to do for the actual part. The actual part will be slightly different from the stock mirror, to make shure ford doesn't sue us.

Now the stock mirror is pretty big and bulky and I want to know if anyone wants us to make a smaller sleeker mirror (still uses all stock internals and glass) or recreate the current one to as close as the stock as were legally allowed to do.

I will try to get pictures up shortly!
