What class do u run?

I'm running novice. I managed a few events last year in my S2000 and this was my first this year and first ever in my Mustang. I'll get one more next month and that will be it for this year. Next year I believe my class will be medium sedan, although I can always run time only. I'm one of those people who are having a great time as long as each run is better than the last and couldn't care less how I fare in my class.

Ok. Cool im running novice f-stock... I ended in 12th place out of about 50 in novice... It started as a fun thing but now im hooked and wanna keep improving...

I know what you mean. I did a one day high performance driving experience and had a blast, but track days are usually pretty expensive and are both much harder on your car and much more risky. I decided to go with autocross which costs me $30 to join the club for the year and $25 for an event. I try to make each run better and last Sunday was able to do so. I missed a gate on runs 1 & 2 and ran clean on 3 and 4. My time improved on each run and overall dropped by almost 4 seconds, so I was a happy camper. I also believe autocross makes you a better driver on the road because it trains you to look ahead further than the end of your nose and teaches you what your car can and cannot do.
