I wonder if this this thread will degrade into an arguement between those that like the look and:
1. 99-04 owners/lovers think its wrong to do such a thing.
2. 05 owners/lovers who will take the position "If you want an 05 look, then buy and 05" (this will be a rare moment when 05 GT and V6 owners agree on something).
Here we go. Let's get ready to...........RUMBLE!

This is I think the third post on this board about the kit. I think it looks good and if I had a 99-04 I'd be very interested in buying it. I'm not sure what all the furvor is about, certainly looks better than many of the other kits I've seen out there.

I really liked the 99-04, I think it looked great. I like the 05 better, so I got one... but it seems wrong to try to turn an apple into an orange.
It is kind of remarkable how much they were able to change it though. Except the tiny little off-center fogs look terrible.

As a person who likes cars of any vintage, I don't get it. It's like turning a 57 Chevy into a 58 or a 68 Mustang into a 69 Mustang. There is nothing wrong with the earlier year model. It will always look like a wanna be. :notnice:
