2008?
 

Some of the magazines are talking about a "face lift" coming for the Mustang. Does anyone know if that's going to be in 2008 or 2009?

In other words, will the 2008 essentially be the same car?

To my knowledge the 2008 (released in 2007) will not recieve any kind of major facelift. The Bullit and Boss are rumors but no solid date has been stated. That being said these would not be major changes to the current body style. The 2009 (released in 2008) could be when the "facelift" could occur, though 2010 seems to keep being rumored to be the actual year the Mustang will change again.

FYI, The Bullitt is confirmed to start production Dec 3rd 2007, so it's no longer a rumor.

Thanks guys - I'm about to order a GT and don't want to be the last guy to get one before they change...if you know what I mean.

The soonest that there will be a facelift will be 2009.....w/2010 a possibility.

Some of the rumors say that there will be new bumper covers for 2008 and other minor updates. There will not be any major changes until the 2010 model year, which is supposed to come out in mid 09.

The 2008 will basiaclly be unchanged. The Bullitt will be an SE like the GT/CS and Shelby but will still have the basic design, AND probably be insanely priced. The new new design is expected for 2009 and may be pushed back to 2010 :dunno: . If you want a new Stang... get it :nice:
