2005 taking on water

I have yet another '05 hard top, no sun roof, taking on water and I sure could use some advice. I have pulled out the rubber drain inserts below the cowls where debris piles up and clogs them. It has been so wet so many times that I removed the carpet. It was totally dry the other day until it rained really, really hard. Then I had more water in the floor pan. Until then I had not removed the rear seat, so I did. There was standing water in the recesses under the seat. I don't believe that enough water could come from the front, go up and over and get under the rear seat. Do I have leaks both for and aft? Any help sure would be appreciated. Thank you.

Check the trim molding around the side windows, especially the passenger side. I had mine leak in this area and fixed it myself with some silicone sealer. The rubber window molding pulls out by hand then a few screws are removed to free up the plastic trim. Reseal it and put everything back and no more leaks. My carpet got mildewed and it took me two years to get that problem fixed. All is good now thanks to Griot's Garage gas generation kit / anti fungal system.
