I will make this SIMPLE AND CLEAR, and I'm sure others in here will agree. IF I DON'T GET THE GOD DANG INTERIOR UPGRADE PACKAGE 18G with the ENTIRE DASH in CHROME and the MY COLOR guages u can kiss your 05 mustang sale GOODBYE. This better be a wakeup call to Ford and any of the beauracrats listening. If you think I'm dropping 30K on a car with a bad taste left in my mouth, you're DEAD WRONG. I already HAVE the bad taste in my mouth after anticipation and excitement. If the 18G IUP package hold ISNT temporary my sale is OVER and I will NEVER look at a Ford again.

   Chris.....try locating one that already exists on a dealer lot

JessicaRabbitt 12/30/04 07:42 PM

Um, hey there Chris...

Quite the introduction, :-D

If your looking for a V6, just do like Kevin said, and find one on the lots. If your looking for a GT, there are some to be found... but it will be much harder to do.

There is always eBay... :jester:

futurestang 12/30/04 07:42 PM

And don't think you're going to get away with that 18-r cruddy SUBSTITUTE IUP package, we all know the dash isn't chrome, we know the my color guages are gone, and WE KNOW ALL THE INTERIOR PICTURES ON THE 05 MUSTANG WEB SITE ARE LIES BECAUSE in half a god-dang year of production, you stopped offering what you advertised!

futurestang 12/30/04 07:43 PM

Look as much as I respect the ebay sales and the "go find a gt on the lot that has it" THAT ISNT THE POINT. FORD IS NOT DELIVERING SOMETHING THEY HAD ME DOWN FOR ON ORDER. that they ADVERTISED. PERIOD END OF STORY. that is unacceptable in ANY business.

allrighty then

You need to check the Forum Rules. Bypassing the language filters can result in banning from the boards.

I agree w/ you, except the last part on not looking at Ford products again. This hold on the IUP is making we wait a little longer than planned. Maybe by the time Ford can figure out what the HECK they are doing then we might hear something on the SE or Cobra. The fact is I still like driving my 2000GT.

futurestang 12/30/04 07:48 PM

I edited all my posts with language. I'd like to get the point across though, that there are some PISSED OFF potential buyers out here, a lot of us WITH ORDERS already. The final straw for me today was calling up my dealer and hearing and i quote:

"WERE STARTING TO THINK THE 18G HOLD IS PERMANENT"

and that was IT. If it's permanent I will NEVER BUY A FORD

TomServo92 12/30/04 07:49 PM

While we all understand your frustration, venting in this forum isn't going to fix anything. Just so know, 18G hasn't been canceled. It's on hold due to inventory issues (from what forum members have been able to determine). I suggest you relax for now. If they ever do cancel IUP, then rant away at Ford all you want (I'm sure you will have plenty of company!).

That's a very immature statement. The hold is because of a lawsuit, not because Ford's trying to drum up demand. Get in line behind the thousands of other customers who want IUP, and take a Xanax.
