2005 convertibles
just thought I'd start a thread, I see a lot of V6's on the road I see Gts here and there, I see V6 convertibles once in awhile, but where are the GT Verts at? I got mine on order which should be arriving the first week of July
so who else has a convertible, even if it's a V6 tell me about your ride and how nice its been with this nice weather.

I have a Legend Lime V6 vert and I'm beginning to love it. I've had it ... tomorrow (Friday) at 6 pm, it will be one week or about 250 miles since I got it.
I'm coming off a Honda S2000 and I love the space in the Mustang and the fact that I can actually see out of the rear window and there are no major blind spots. It also gets much better gas mileage than the Honda. It doesn't handle nearly as well, but this car is a keeper.
As it is above 60 degrees and it isn't raining, I'm top down all the way.

Had mine since Feb 24. Here in Texas I think all the flavors of 05 are more common. One day I even looked in my rear view and saw my exact same car behind me!!! Torch Red Vert GT with red leather interior. I have seen two or three other Verts that I can recall now and many GT's. In fact more GT's than V6's.
To answer the original question I love the car!!! It is very quiet for a vert when the top is up. And it is wonderful when the top is down. It is finally getting too hot for the top to be down in the middle of the day but early and late it will still be ok for a while but then there is lots of days in the fall and winter that are very nice for top down driving here in the DFW area.

I LOVE the freedom of driving with the top down. This is my first vert and my first Mustang. I will just go out and drive... with no destination.
I added heated seats so that I could keep the top down longer.

I've had my satin silver GT vert since May 13th and I Love it!!! I've only had the top up 4 times since I took delivery and 3 of those times were only because I was washing it. Best car I've ever had. [attachmentid=24767][attachmentid=24768]
I've had Sunny since April 9th. 3200 miles on her so far.... which includes 3 weekend road trips to Louisville, KY from Southwest of Nashville, TN (3 hr drive).
Love her! Drove her to work today because the weather is beautiful..... and I couldn't resist putting down the top.

We've had our GT convertible for a couple of weeks. I see a few other '05 Mustang convertibles around town (east Orlando) but haven't paid attention to the ratio of GTs to V6s.
There's a V6 convertible in our office parking lot right now - same color and top as our GT. It's a rental, so I expect I'll see a lot more Mustang convertibles around town in the future.
