The dealer I just bought my black GT at was trying to sell me the Ziebart paint sealant protection. It costs 189.00. My question is has anyone ever had anything similar to this done? Is it worth it in the long run. I'm curious to as if this stuff would help on the black color to keep swirl marks and hairline scratches to a minimum. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
Thanks

I was offered the same thing. I have a feeling that's nothing more than an expensive wax job. Regardless, I said no. The best way to guard against paint chips is following distance, specially from 18-wheelers.

I vaguely remember ziebart from years ago...is this the same stuff?... I didn't think they were offering that anymore...and wasn't ziebart the same company who tried to sell the undercoating too???

Yep,same company. I declined the Ziebart paint protection but was curious if anyone had an idea what it was they do. Probably right...just an expensive wax job.heck I can do that myself for free, lol
