I was out with some friends last night, and while we were partying this girl started up a convo with us...As we were all talking she said she was a salesman for a Ford dealer nearby. After a while we got to the mustangs...and how great the new ones were, and when they were being built and such...She asked me why I didn't buy a cobra vert. when I got mine.. I informed her that I had xplan and there was no xplan on any svt's... That this was one of the few times they even had rebates...It was then she said that you COULD get xplan on SVt's... Is this true??? My dealer at the time, and even my company website at that time said no...is this something that has changed????

 

You can get Xplan on cobras now.

One local dealer is also offering 0% financing as well

I've looked on forddirect.com I don't see any Cobras. I just assumed Cobra and Lightning were off limits.

 

I think the way to go about it is.......use your code from fordpartner.com use the hyperlink to link to forddirect.com then you will see Mach's, GT's, v6, but no Cobras.

I question it, however if you can use the discount on a Jaguar then I guess a Cobra isn't insane.

 

Checked in with my dealer, and did a little more homework....It seems that I can get a cobra on xplan...Now I'm kinda wondering, are they trying to put too many cobras on the road, and having a hard time getting rid of them??? Still I wish they had xplan on them back in march, I would have ordered mine...But oh well I love mine just the same...

 

The choice to use any plan is up to the dealership not Ford. I bought an 03 Cobra on x plan in Dec 02 with no hassles. Dealerships will be looking to get rid of the old Mustangs as the 05 will start coming out soon. Good Luck
