Needs a flat black rear spoiler, but this is sweet:

Ford really dropped the ball not offering Mach 1 in Silver.

I think silver would have been a better offer than Black.

I like black, but the black decals on a black car was a dumb idea. You couldn't see them.

I'm in the minority here, but the silver doesn't do it for me on that car.

Now maybe a titanium silver might look good, but this car needs colours that make it stand out and though it looks like a nice car, it doesn't hit you the way a Torch Red, Azure Blue or Grabber Orange do.

Brad, for the engine side of that, go ahead and opt for the 2003/04 mach 1 motor. Better trq curve for a n/a car.

also adopt in a Dr. Gas catt'd X-pipe and JBA shorty headers and then get it custom tuned by SCT. That will defintely put you around 320rwhp or better.

I would also add Ford Racing HD upper control arms and MM lower control arms to help in the handling dept. I personally also opt for H&R Super Sport springs instead of the bullits. Slightly lower drop, dramatically increased handling capabilites.

Yea, Ford should've definiately offered the Mach 1 in silver, I think they would've sold really well. Too bad...

I had the Cobra engine down when I was dreaming of supercharging it, but I changed my mind on that. I will make those changes. Anyone got $50K to donate to a project car?

Yeah I think with the Mach1 motor, you'd enjoy the lower trq much more than a 99/01 cobra motor. The navi heads/cam setup they are running makes the car a much deadlier force n/a. If you want a boosted 4v, go with a 96-98, they can flow much better in boosted applications.

The 99/01 setup is a good n/a and nitrous setup though!!

Maybe Ford dropped the ball on the silver but not the black. I liked the black mainly because the stripes didn't show. The sleeper look is a killer. Plus, it helped me maintain my mature image.

I like the black, but I just think the stripes would have been cool if they were silver. I do agree, it does look like a sleeper in black. Unless you see the shaker, its tough to spot a black one quickly.

If the black helped maintain your mature image, then what does mystichrome say????
