Depends on how wide your wheels are. My wheels are 18x9. I run a 275/35/18. If you're running a 8inch wide wheel, then a 245, maybe a 255.

If your rear wheel is a 10inch wide wheel. I'd run a 295/35.

A 335 tire yes, only if there is enough power. My 275 tire is plenty. I had deep dish bulllit wheel. 17x10.5, with 315/35/17 bfg drag radials. Too much tire. I run quicker times and shorter 60 foots with a 275/35/18. Also my lap times for solo autocross are quicker.

Stock 95 wheels are an 8inch wide wheels. A 255 is the widest you can go. If you have a 9inch wide wheel you can go 275.

A friend is tryin to sell me a set of wheels that are 275 40 17 that's on his v8 rx7 and he says there the same bolt pattern. There brand new riken tires and seem to hook pretty good. Do you kno much bout them and if they would hook hard on a fairly mild 5.0 with a 3.73?

Your friends wheels are probably 17x9. Never heard of that brand. If he's running a v8 in a rx-7, chances are its an ls1. So you should do fine hooking up. Just make sure tires are in good condition. I.e. tread wear, uneven tread wear, feathering, dry rotting, flat spots.
