Stage 1 cams. Should I or shouldn't I?

Hello everyone

So I have gotten some mods done to the my 03 GT and looking to do something new to it. I have always loved the sound of any cam in well any muscle car. Having worked on other vehicles I hate the idea of opening up the engine and maybe running into a can of mechanical worms. My Mustang is a toy but is also used for my family to go ride around and have fun and want reliability.

So the cams I was considering is CMS or Cushman Motor Sports. They do not require new valve springs or really a tune but suggest a tune. I would have the car programmed or dynoed once installed. To me it seems like a no brainier to get the exhaust note we all love. What I hear on YouTube with CMS stage 1 cams they really have a good beat or note.

Looking to get any feed back on reliability concerns with these cams or any general info would be appreciated. I live in the Cleveland Ohio area and if anyone knows a good shop or dyno please let me know as well.

thats in my plans too, keep me posted on your project. I have lots of other work to complete before i get to that stage. Currently working on the transmission and then exhaust.

What other mods do you have? From what I have seen there isn't a whole lot to be gained from swapping cams on the 04.
