First Time Buyer...
Ok guys',
As the time for me to get a new stang (01-03) gets closer and closer, what discounts does a first time buyer get (if any for a used one)? I am still in H.S., have great grades, what should I expect?
Isn't there a first time buyer's rebate? I need something to toggle in, anything at all to save a few bucks, as it will go far down the road?!
So pile them on me fella's B)

no first time buyers rebate on mustangs, especially used ones. i believe ford offered a first time buyers package if you were getting a focus. i know they did soemthing like this back in 2000 when we got our first car which was a 2000 mustang. but you might want to PM kevin and see what he knows
You still might be able to find an 03 on some lots if you look hard enough...and those you might be able to get something back on..I was looking around up here and believe it or not there were 1 or 2 leftovers from 03. If I remember right there was still some moneys back on those things...Good Luck
I got my 03 a month ago brand new and it had a 4k rebate,I however opted for 1.9% financing instead of taking the rebate. I'm pretty sure they may still have the big rebate since they're even more desperate to do away with 03's. There's even an 03 Redfire Cobra, brand new sitting at a dealer a few miles of here. I almost got that one but I wanted a ragtop bad. They're selling the Cobra for 26k.
Matter of fact the dealer I bought mine from has two brand new 03 GT verts (auto tranny) on their lot. Both are premiums, one is black and one is redfire. Only problem is they're here in Ohio...pretty long ways from where you are.
I would not mind that scootr...not one bit, I just wish they had these vehicles here...it stinks so bad that we (AZ people) don't have really nice mustangs for sale (brand new). There are tons of used ones, but I don't want someone's broke in mustang that they beat up for 7-10 months and then give it to me...dang ol' those people!
So s7v7n, guess you don't want to hear that a dealer here in NY had an add in the paper today for 22 mustang convertibles, 2003, and 2004, the v6 vert was listed at $15,000.. I thought that was a pretty good price. And if I remember they were all Automatics
Seems that auto's are the minority for Stangs...thank god for that because that's how I landed mine and got such a sweet deal. I wanted a manual tranny but after my most recent knee surgery that wasn't happening. Svcks having no cartilage, lol!!!!

Sonic Blu, thanks for the tease there...really funny
And BTW, how do they have 2005's there? Did you mean 2004? Any GT's?
Flights are pretty cheap there...only about 199$ one way...hmmmm

Yeah, if I have the zip I will look him up...I hardly doubt there are any good ones left, but I would still do an over the phone sale, until I could get up there...if the price is right (I love that show).

[/b][/quote]1167 miles in a Mach 1 is fun. :drive:
In a Ryder truck, that would be brutal.
