Brake switch or shortage problem

Hi everyone I have a 2004 mustang gt and For some reason my dash lights flicker while I'm driving, most of the time is cause I'm braking my light would dime and the flickering starts. I look under my steering wheel to check the brake switch and one wire keeps overheating causing it to melt. I shorten the wire and cut it down to where the melting ended but still keeps melting when I drive it.

you have a short some where in the system, something is drawing WAY too much amperage if your melting wires, I would get your car looked at ASAP by a good shop before it catches on fire and burns to the ground or worse....

The problem is that i don't know any good shop that would find the problem asap. Know any good commercial shops that can find problems like this quick?
