BBK shortie headers install tips

Hey guys! Just as per title I am installing a set of BBK shortie tuned headers on to my mustang gt 2002. Have never done this before but I have an idea about what to do. BBK has a pretty good set of instructions on their site. Just wanting to know if anyone has any tips or things to look out for! Thanks guys.

Did they come with new bolts? Make sure you have a swivel...

Make sure the gaskets fit and the old bolts will fit the new headers. I had JBAs on my 00 V6 and the "locking" bolts that JBA supplied kept backing out in a couple spots. Every few months I'd have to tighten it back up to get rid of the exhaust leak. Luckily it was one of the bolts that was easy to reach though.

And go ahead and throw $100 in the swear jar, that'll get you a good start.

Lmao yup! It's not a car project unless your knuckles are bleeding, you say every swear word in the book at least 3 times and you break at least one plastic clip.
