Moving to '1994-2004 V6' sections, but will leave a link for today.

Have you performed any searches on youtube.com? There are multiple clips with different types of exhaust modifications.

I put a flowmaster super 44 muffler on mine. Gets rid of 'secretary's car' sound! I think I paid a total of $130 parts and installation.

Idk, flomasters I guess. Pypes makes a good true dual exhaust kit, Mac does As well. If you are going dual, the PLEASE get the gt bumper, or the Mac "dumps" after the axle.

IMHO the ugliest thing about the new edge v6's are the exhaust tips. So if your going to make it sound good make the tips look good as well. Or just replace the old muffler with one of your choosing and put turn downs before or after the axle.

I say don't worry about it. Turn the tunes up or replace them and then turn them up.

I would not recommend flowmasters, I don't think that they sound good on my V6, I would look in to magnaflow if I were you JMO.

Get long tube headers! I have LTs, o/r h, slp on my 04. I'll admit slp does get raspy but I like it! Whatever you go with though get LTs. They will give it a bit deeper tone and better flow!

Yes it will fit the headers will be tight getting in. I believe I had to push on up through underneath and the other down through the top. I have Mac ceramic LTs and BBK o/r h pipe. Just be sure you get the shorty h pipe or it will be to long and also you will need O2 extensions and one MIL eliminator set. And yes the H takes care of the stock crossover to the Y pipe with your cats on it and the SLPs finish to the back. Oh yeah and you'll also need a exhaust hanger kit to hang it up since your 6 will only have the one side. Hope you enjoy it! And don't sweat it we've all been there with learning new stuff

Also couple other things you'll want to know that nobody told me when I did mine. O2 extensions go on all 4 and you'll have to cut little tabs off of the stock one on the front sensors for it to connect no big deal. Secondly the back set which will be blue, read the air after the cats with no cats these aren needed but to keep your check engine light off you use MIL eliminators on that set only. The plug in ones are a little more but way easier than splicing into it. Just make sure you get the frog green ones hooked back up those control your air/fuel ratio I ran around without mine for awhile because I was new and didn't know lol. Hope this helps!
