Yep! Funny, I literally did nothing. I changed the oil right before I stopped driving it, also did the tranny/coolant/rear end fluid flushes too - it took a while to start up, with 3 year old gas, but once it fired up, it purred like a kitten. I was shocked.

I own a 2000 Python. Original owner. They were sold in Tampa Florida at Bill Currie Ford. Aftermarket parts were from Razzi. My car is still intact and I love it.

Please don't let your kid get discouraged by comments like this, I may not like the wing that may be on your Python now, but I'm more a low profile stealth type of mind set, with mustangs, I do like the black paint and I would like to suggest the 2004 style headlamps (the black ones that my mustang has) as I think they would set it off perfect with the (I think) 13 style tails, and a lower profile type wing, then leave it as is, other then that I hope you and your up and coming mustang fan enjoy the car, also consider getting him/her a repair book or two, start reading up on the car, not as if it breaks but more for when ( it is bound to happen at some point in the future course of life)

Do you have any mods planned for this car you have a perfect start in my opinion , please post more pictures especially of the engine! 😃

To the "purest" out there: ( please think very carefully before commenting on this , but does the fact that I plan to change the tail lamps on my mustang To the 2013 style, along with black style wheels from American Muscle ( have not decided what style I want yet), along with having a CAI and Bama tuner for my car, oh can't forget the led third brake lamp, shifter and planed exhaust upgrade and the soon to be installed ram mount either, does all this mean I'm a ricer as well?

Nobody in this thread has a gt Cobra saleen svt or anything big that the mustang has ever put out. This is a very nice gift and your son should be proud. Dude talking **** is a bum and should try upgrading that mustang he has. That is the worst model mustang that ford has ever put out
